Hey Everyone. Its been a while since we've put any new stuff up-
So here is 3 months worth of important pictures. Sorry
you have to take all of this in all at once! Enjoy!
We took pictures in Rexburg right before we left and our friend Jen did them. She did an amazing job- We love them! They were our family pictures and also Paxton's ONE year old pictures! He is getting to big too fast! But if you think he is big in these picture you will be absolutely amazed at how much he has grown since we have got to Portland.

I love this one of Greg and Pak-man! Its so cute

This is my Favorite of Paxton- He is so handsome just like his daddy!
We moved to Portland August 1st and my parents drove our our moving truck out for us. It was so fun having them here for a couple of days- and while they were here we were able to see some awesome sites. We had to get our zoo cards while they were here so we could all go together and that was so fun! Its a pretty big Zoo with lots of animals including:Lepards

A big bird show (that is where we are- on the lawn at the bird show) the turkey vulture almost took my moms head off as he came into land on his perch that just happened to be right behind her. It was awesome!

There are 2 Giraffes
They have 2 polar bear that just happen to be twins- They are both really old though and so they have to do certain exercises laid out for them by the zoologists to help with their arthritis.
2 bald eagles
2 hipos

3 black bears this one up in the tree is the baby cub- there are signs all over saying "please don't panic if our cub in up at the top of the trees. He is a good climber and he will not fall out of the tree." Its a little funny!
3 mountain Goats

There are a lot more animals, but this was Paxton at the end of our first trip to the zoo- poor little dude! He was so zonked!

Ah- Voodoo Doughnuts! Its like the best place ever!!! this is what I crave all the time now! They have these maple bars with bacon stripe on them and it is amazing! WOW! For anyone who thinks this is weird and gross its like eating pancakes, maple syrup, and bacon- Its awesome!!!
Their slogan are "Good things come in a pink box" and my favorite "The magic's in the hole" hahaha wow!
The weekend after we got there we went to the Saturday market down but the river. It was the most radical thing ever. Coming to Portland from Rexburg life is very different- thats all i will say. The people there were crazy! There was a man walking around in circles talking on his shoe like it was a cellphone. There was some really good street performers and the crazy old lady dancing to there music. There were some really cool huts with some fun merchandise but some of them we would walk past and... well... it wasn't cigarette smoke i was smelling... they were selling something really special and home grown if you know what i mean! This bridge behind Greg is the Hawthorn Bridge. Its cool it raises in the middle to let boats through
We went to Multnomah Falls and went on a 5 mile hike. It was 2 1/2 miles to the top and the path was paved. So it was pretty low key but really fun!
We took an adventure to the coast and on the way stopped by the Tillamook cheese factory on the way. We were able to see the cheese being cut into blocks and packaged and we got to sample a ton of really awesome cheese!

This is another hike that we went on. It was 6 miles all the way around. we hiked up to triple falls all the way at the top then came down to ponytail falls and down farther to horsetail falls.

Paxton likes to hike by himself. If we let him he would hike all the way to the top and back down. Its just a bit slow at his pace but its so fun for all of us.

This is pony tail falls. The trail actually gos behind the falls. Its so fun!

This is horse tail falls at the bottom of the trail- its so pretty!
This is the tunnel that we had to walk through to go back to our car. It smelled exellent like cedar! This hike below was neat. It was short but fun. Its called punch bowl falls this is the little falls below punch bowl and Greg jumped off!he said that the water was so cold- almost as cold as the glacier water in Alaska.

This is punch bowl falls. Look Familiar?
So after jumping into the cold water greg got super sick- he was trying to read Paxton books and his nose kept dripping so he just plugged it up hahah!!! Paxton thought it was pretty hilarious!
We went back to the coast a couple of weeks ago with a few of our friends and it was awesome. The town was so cute and the store there were so fun. Salt water taffy, old toy stores, antiques... oh it was great. When we first got there we found this statue and Paxton was totally freaked out! It scared him a lot!
The beach was freezing!!!!
This is Matt another first year. He and his wife stephanie have a 2 year old boy (James) who loves Paxton to death, they just had a daughter a few days ago but she was still pregnant at the beach. The Boys started digging in the sand and james and Paxton just kind of helped a little. So funny! they were pretty into it!Look at how cute these boys are!

My sister Britnie and her hubby Dave came to visit on their way to a Seattle Seahawks game. I don't have any pictures of that but we went to dinner and we went for Voodoo Doughnuts (of course) but after they left I was inspired thats why when I saw this coat I had to get it! Its a Seattle Seahawks NFL coat and its awesome- this ones for you Dave!
So if you look close then you will see that Paxton has a beat up face he has scratches and marks and bruises. Its because we went to this awesome park by the rose gardens and he was having the best time. he ran all over the place and he fell a lot- but he never cried not once! he is a trooper!

This is the park and this was a couple of days after our first visit.
Here Paxton is...

And there he gos! he is so fast!

He went down the biggest slide by himself but this is how he came out at the bottom sideways! woohoo!

Later paxton was tiered so he chilled on the couch with his trusty sidekick, Teddy! Thank you Uncle Jim and Aunt Linda for this teddy bear he is my sons best friend! They watched his favorite show Tangled! haha what a guy!
Well everyone we send our love and hope that everything is going well with you! maybe I won't wait 7 months to post again! love you!----Kirsten, Greg, and Paxton

Okay, lots of pics! Seriously looks like so much fun though! I'm thinking we really will have to plan a little trip and come visit! So, the picture of you in the green lacey shirt with Paxton in the stroller is awesome! You look amazing in it! Just so you know. :)
