Paxton has a really stuffy nose with all of the oxygen. He may have to come home with some oxygen help. We'll see what happens. Mom and baby are doing great, both just trying to get enough rest. Kirsten is going to be discharged later this afternoon; however, they moved us to a different room that we can stay in until Paxton is able to go home too unless the hospital becomes to busy. It is kinda funny we have a bigger room nicer pull-out beds a giant flat screen TV kinda weird that this is the alternative. Kirsten had plans to go into the beauty school on Tuesday to get rid of her blond hair and go back to a darker brown/red. There was a little bit of a change of plans. I warned her about having to take a bunch of pictures with her new baby with blond hair. She claims that it was one of those late pregnant baby moments. She is excited to be able to go get it worked on since the toner has kind of faded out.
You can see by the look on Paxton's face that he is thrilled, or maybe its the look of anticipation of a tar spill that took place on Kirsten's hands minutes later.
We dressed him in something a little more cozy so he snuggles even better.
Even though that is the bird finger it was pretty cute to watch him try and suck on his fingers.
Both really sleepy. Mom is a lot happier that she gets to hold her little boy. I'm a tough one to snuggle with like that.
